Location:
The ascending aorta is the portion of the aorta that is uprising. It originates at the aortic valve annulus.  It includes the aortic root and the coronary artery ostium.  The artery ascends and ends at the aortic arch.

Localización:
La aorta ascendente es la porción de la aorta que se dirige hacia arriba. Se origina en el anillo de la válvula aórtica. Incluye la raíz aórtica y el ostium de las arterias coronarias. La arteria asciende y termina en el arco aórtico.
